Bookings and cancellations
Your trip, with clear terms from the start.
These terms apply only to new tours and packages booked directly with Purachata Experience, including Pacaya Samiria programmes and any accommodation included in the package.
How to confirm and pay for your booking
When booking
To confirm your reservation.
By 15 days before arrival
Bring your advance payment to 50% of the total price.
On arrival
Before the service begins.
If you book 15 days or less before arrival: pay 50% when confirming and the remaining 50% on arrival. Your booking is confirmed once we receive the advance payment and send our written confirmation. Sending an enquiry or form does not by itself confirm availability.
Pacaya Samiria: you may arrange to pay the balance when passing through Purachata on the way to Nauta, before your excursion begins.
If you need to cancel
Refund of 85% of the initial 30% deposit.
Refund of 50% of the amount paid up to that point.
The advance payment is non-refundable.
Refund percentages apply to the advance payments indicated, not to the total booking price. Notice periods are counted in calendar days before the arrival date or start of the service, using Peru’s local time.
How to notify us
Send your cancellation in writing to WhatsApp +51 917 057 569, including your name, dates and booking reference. The date we receive your message applies, even if we reply later. We will confirm the refund calculation, method and processing timeframe in writing.
Date changes
Contact us before changing your travel plans. Changes depend on availability and our written confirmation. Any price difference will be explained before you accept the change.
If Purachata cancels or cannot provide the service
The cancellation charges above do not apply. We will offer an alternative or rescheduling; if you do not accept it, we will refund the amount paid for services not provided. If the trip has not started and the programme cannot take place, we will refund the full amount paid.
Existing bookings and other channels
Bookings made before this policy is published keep the terms originally accepted. Bookings through agencies or platforms are governed by that channel’s terms. Your rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
