You can accept, reject or choose the website’s external services. Rejecting them still lets you browse our experiences and use the contact and booking forms. The embedded Google map stays disabled until you authorise it.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that your browser stores on your device to remember information, such as your language or cookie choice. This policy also explains external services that may receive data when they load, even if they do not always use cookies.

3. Necessary cookies
These remember your preferences and manage the consent notice. They stay active because they are needed to provide these functions. Consent management cookies are not used to send you advertising.

Complianz may also use your browser’s local storage to display and update the notice. You can clear it in your browser settings.
4. Optional external services
The “External services” category allows:
- Google Maps: the map showing the ecolodge’s location. When you allow it, your browser connects to Google, which may receive your IP address and technical information and use its own cookies depending on its services and your settings.
- Google Fonts: typefaces hosted by Google. Loading them connects your browser to Google; this does not necessarily mean cookies are installed. If you do not allow them, the website uses available fallback fonts.
These services are blocked until you give permission. Google determines the characteristics and duration of its own cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and cookie information. Processing may involve data transfers outside Peru under the provider’s terms.
The consent manager is configured without an analytics service. Purachata does not use contact or booking information to send advertising.
5. How to change your choice
Accept allows optional services. Reject keeps only necessary functions. Choose lets you review categories and save your preferences. Closing the notice or continuing to browse does not count as consent.
You can change or withdraw permission at any time through “Cookie settings”. Withdrawal affects future loading; it does not delete information already received by a third party. To remove cookies already saved, also use your browser settings.
6. External links and your rights
WhatsApp and social media links take you to external platforms. When you open them, their own policies and privacy controls apply.
